Mt. Fuji is an active volcano that spans both the Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. The height is 3776.24 m, which is the highest peak in Japan. Its graceful appearance is widely known as a symbol of Japan even internationally.

② From Kawaguchi Lake (Yamanashi)
From Kawaguchiko you can see the whole of Mount Fuji. Mt. Fuji reflected on the lake is called inverted Fuji and it is a mystical sight. Gazing on Mt Fuji from this scenic spot, inspires you to want to meditate just by observing the tranquil water.

③ From Oshino-Hakkai-Mura
Mt.Fuji dominates the village of Oshino, which has wonderfully unique houses. Here you will also find eight ponds, which have been designated as a National Natural Treasure. The village is known as Oshino Hakkai ( after the eight ponds )
